SOME BACKGROUND :
GANYMAN - The Man (being, entity, as you will) From Ganymede.
GANYMEDE - A Moon Of Jupiter (Actually, this is a misconception, brought about by Human-kind's (Terrans) obsession with size, but is referred to thus in order to minimise confusion on the part of Terrans reading this). Jupiter is actually the moon of Ganymede. Ganymede and Jupiter orbit a common centre (it just happens to be within the Jupiter sphere).
JUPITER - One Of 26 Planets That Make Up The Sol Planetary System. Terrans will be surprised to hear that there are 26 planets in their system, having only discovered 8 (of course, Terrans think they have discovered 9, but Pluto is not a planet, it being the product of Ganymean's brief but unfortunate flirtation several centuries ago with ice sculpting). It should also be noted here that, due to the rather large orbits of Sol's outer planets, several of them are also claimed to be part of other systems by the governing bodies of those systems.
